Hello again...

Tue Oct 7, 2008, 6:19 PM
It's been forever and I day since I was on DevArt. I finished my first year of college, worked at a summer camp, and am now 5 weeks into fall quarter of my sophomore year. It's been crazy. I'm even thinking of changing my major to photojournalism.

If I ever get around to it, I have about a million pictures to put up. We'll see how that goes.

Springtime

Wed Apr 9, 2008, 2:22 PM
It is springtime here in Athens and the weather has been very kind. The flowers are blooming, the grass is green, the sun is shining. The bikinis are everywhere. On people they shouldn't be. That's the one terrile thing about warm weather. Bikinis.

But the quarter is new and things are going well. I'm writing more now, and this is a wonderful thing. Until very recently, I hadn't written in a long time. Over a year, I think.

The pieces I started last quarter are being slowly finished. And there are quite a few of them. But for now, I won't worry about things.

It's so nice to be in Athens in the spring.

Hmm

Mon Feb 25, 2008, 4:30 PM
I have so many pictres of Athens it's not even funny. I'm just too lazy to sit here and post them. It'll take a while, I'm sure.

I think there are only three weeks left in the quarter. I register for classes tomorrow and I'm not really sure what I'm taking. That could be a problem. The classes I'm interested in were almost full today and I don't register until 11:30 tomorrow. It could be worse, though.

I'm just ready for the weekend. Already, haha. There's a SMO concert, though. That's reason enough to be excited for the weeked on a Monday. And it's my turn to make dinner for Family Night! It's limited to what you can cook in a microwave, of course. That's the only appliance we've got to work with. Well, Kerry miiight have a quesadilla maker and Steven miiight have a crock pot, but shhhh! Those are contraband.

Feeling Blah

Tue Feb 12, 2008, 8:54 PM
Since winter quarter I've started several pieces. Two Celtic goddesses, one mermaid, one Jane Austen fanart, a portrait of the Queen of Hearts, one portrait of Sarah from Labyrinth, and several sketches for a Holly Black fanart. And I just haven't had the heart to finish any of them. It's got me really depressed. It's seven weeks into the quarter.

Inspired

Thu Jan 3, 2008, 7:46 PM
Today I was hit by the creativity bus. I almost stayed home from sweeney Todd to work on these two new pieces. A few days ago I completed a drawing, the only one I've worked on since I've been home. It features the Morrigan, or my loose interpretation of her anyway. Today I thought I'd follow that up with Badb and Macha to complete the trio. I might be up late working on it.

I hope so.
